Augusta Cecconi-Bates -- negotiations underway for new performances of MOLLY OF THE MOHAWKS (premiered 2008) at Queen's University's Bader Center for the Performing Arts --sometime in 2015 -16.

Currently working with librettist HENRY JELINEK, JR. on a new opera SKATERS -- dealing with the Jelinek family's escape to Canada in 1948 --from behind the Iron Curtain in Czechoslovakia. Tentative plans for a world premiere late in 2015 in Canada.

Plans for the production of JOSEPH SMITH, a chamber opera are also in the works for 2015.

AUGUSTA's: HOLOCAUST MUSIC is under consideration for programming this year with Violinist Michael Emery and directed by Charles Schneider. --This was composed in 1978 to honor Sam and Gertrude Flor survivors of the Nazi Camps in 1945,. Sam and Gertrude programmed this work at the Vermont Music and Arts Center in 1978.
